Meet Dr. Ehab Akkary,MD,FACS,FAACS,MBA
Dr. Akkary is a highly regarded Cosmetic Surgeon based in Morgantown, WV. He holds Board Certification in Cosmetic Surgery from the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Facial Cosmetic Surgery from the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and General Surgery from the American Board of Surgery. He has completed two prestigious fellowship training programs at Yale University in New Haven, CT, and Shumway Cosmetic Surgery in San Diego, CA. Additionally, he earned an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Akkary specializes in Cosmetic Surgery, including face and body contouring, as well as non-surgical procedures such as injectables (neuromodulators, fillers, and PRP) and lasers. His techniques eliminate the need for general anesthesia, reducing patient recovery time, virtually eliminating the risk of hospital-acquired infections, and decreasing patient costs.
Dr. Akkary is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery (ASCBS), American Society of Liposuction Surgery (ASLS), World Association of Gluteal Surgeons (WAGS), and American Medical Association (AMA). He is also Patient Safety Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Akkary serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and as Chair of its Membership Committee. He also serves as an Examiner for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

Meet Dr. Chin, DO, MPH, MS
Dr. Mike Chin is the newest attending cosmetic surgeon at Akkary Surgery Center in Morgantown.
Dr. Chin earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Waterloo in Canada, followed by two master’s degrees, a Master of Public Health and a Master of Science, building a foundation in public health and medical science before earning his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He went on to complete six years of General Surgery residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York. His training included rotations at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Columbia, Trinitas, and Mount Sinai, with experience across demanding surgical environments. His research background includes work at the Johns Hopkins Burn Center and contributions to numerous research publications.
He then pursued a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he trained under six attending surgeons in a fellowship dedicated exclusively to cosmetic surgery. His training involved more than 1,700 cosmetic procedures, exposing him to a range of surgical techniques, aesthetic perspectives, and approaches to patient care.
At Akkary Surgery Center, Dr. Chin offers a broad range of cosmetic procedures, with a particular focus on body contouring and breast surgery, including brachioplasty (arm lift), drainless tummy tuck techniques, thighplasty (thigh lift), breast augmentation, and breast lift. These procedures represent his areas of special interest, with additional options tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals.
Dr. Chin believes that trust should be earned through honest conversations, thoughtful planning, surgical precision, and a team that stays engaged throughout your recovery. His philosophy is simple: the operation is one part of your care. The relationship matters from the first consultation through the last postoperative visit.
