Laser and Injectables - Should have done it sooner!
This was my first experience with any type of injectables/laser treatments. I felt at ease with the physican and staff. They were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The gave me a tour of their facility, which was very clean, modern. I am no longer a botox virgin! My frown line has diminished, little by little, each day! I also had laser treatments for my eyes and for a vericose vein on my thigh. You wouldn't believe the results after just one treatment! I wish I had the pictures to share with you. Anyway, I highly recommend this establishment...why wait...make an appointment now! I wish I would have made my sooner!

Overall healthy patients who desire to achieve facial rejuvenation by decreasing wrinkles around the eyes, mouth or other areas, improve the appearance of scars (e.g. acne), treat melasma (dark pigmentation of the face that occurs with pregnancy), eliminate or improve sun spots, age spots and freckles.

Note: A contraindication is a condition or factor that serves as a reason to withhold a certain medical treatment due to the harm that it would cause the patient.
How is this procedure performed?
- The skin is cleaned thoroughly prior to applying the peel. The specific strength and depth of peel is discussed before the procedure. The chemical agent is then applied on the skin. Patients might feel a mild burning sensation for a few minutes and cool compresses can be used to alleviate this sensation.
- Multiple treatments might be needed especially with superficial and medium depth peels.
How long does the effect last?
Results vary per patient and skin type but improvement is expected to be long term.
What should I expect during recovery?
- Some redness, skin sensitivity and swelling can occur during recovery which last for a few hours to a few days.
- Skin blistering and peeling (may last for 2 weeks in average) is expected during recovery.
- Avoid sun exposure and hot showers.
- Dressing might need to be applied to the treatment areas.
