Neuromodulators

  • Botox, Dysport and Xeomin (neuromodulators) are brand names of botulinum type A.
  • The repetitive contractions of our facial muscles creates lines, frowns and wrinkles over the years.
  • These neuromodulators inhibit the nerve signals going to the muscles causing muscle relaxation, less lines and wrinkles providing a softer and younger look.
  • The effect is temporary (3-6 months) and repeated injections are needed to maintain the effect.
